Course Name: Heartsaver CPR AED
Course Hours: 3 hours
Course Description: Learn to save the life of a loved one, friend, co-worker, or a neighbor. The skills learned in this course include CPR (for adults, children, and infants), how to properly use an AED defibrillator, relief of choking in adults, children, and infants, compression only CPR, when to call 9-1-1, and use of barrier devices for all ages. Class agenda includes video instruction, lecture, and hands on with manikins and AED equipment.
Course Pre-requisites: None
Application requirements: $45.00 and valid photo ID
Certificate: 2 year certification card through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Study Material: Receive a handout from us to take home.
Who is this class for: New parents, grandparents, babysitter, all family members, personal trainers, massage therapists, acupuncturist, and any non-medical professional who would like to learn how to help in an emergency, or needs a certification for their workplace/school.
